  • Fit your skirting around your mattress to secure the topper in place.
  • Finally, put your any protectors, sheets or bedding you need. Voila! Get ready for a softer sleep on your "new" bed.

Comfort preference is very personal. When you shop for a topper, take your time and either lie down on it or give it a good squeeze to determine what feels best for you. Tossing, turning and waking up throughout the night can be attributed to how hot or cold your body gets while you're asleep. If you're struggling to sleep because of this, you'll wake up feeling groggy with aches and pains. The difference is in the name, if you feel like you're too cold, you might be a cold sleeper and you might need a little more padding on your bed to warm you up. And, if you get too hot in the night (most commonly felt in summer) or you wake up in a sweat, you'll need to find ways to regulate your temperature. Our Serta Gel-Infused Memory Foam Topper is another option that helps to manage excess body heat while you sleep.

Yes it is to use to use an electric blanket in conjunction with our mattresses and toppers.

A good quality mattress should last 8-10 years however you may need to replace your mattress more frequently as your sleep requirements change. Over time you may find that you’re not getting the same quality of sleep you used to. Changes in quality of sleep can be due to wear and tear on your mattress, but can also be due to physiological changes or changes in your sleep environment. If your mattress is less than 8-10 years old and you’re finding you’re not sleeping as well as you used to, it may be worth adding a new topper to increase the comfort layers.
